Two awards in one week for Ringier Africa

Different awards have been won this week in two sections of Ringier Africa: ZoomTanzania won “Brand Excellence in eCommerce and Internet Business in Tanzania” and Blogger Fiifi Anaman won the “Sports Pearl Award” with his article for Allsports Ghana.

Congratulations to the winners: Two representatives within the ranks of Ringier Africa received awards this week for their outstanding performances. The journalist Fiifi Anaman who is writing for Ringier Ghana won a prize for the best column and business directory – classifieds ZoomTanzania was honored for its exceptional entrepreneurship.

With his article “How the Black Stars stabbed a nation in cold blood” published in Allsports Ghana in September, Fiifi Anaman won the “Sports Pearl Award” in the category “Best Column”. The award was handed over last Tuesday in Abu Dhabi and is one of the top prizes in feature sports writing worldwide. It honors the authors who demonstrate the most relevance and knowledge in the field of sports. Twenty-one year old Fiifi Anaman beat several prominent columnists from around the world.

Another winner is Ringier Tanzania: Its business directory – classifieds ZoomTanzania has been honored with the Tanzania Leadership Award in the category “Brand Excellence in eCommerce and Internet Business” on the 11th of December. The first-of-its-kind event recognized entrepreneurs and businesses which have contributed the most to raising Tanzania’s economy. With hundreds of nominations in nearly 40 categories, the event brought together leadership from all kinds of businesses in multiple sectors.
