Swisscom remains a Super League sponsor

Swisscom has been a Super League sponsor for nine years. It is now extending this commitment and its collaborative relationship with Ringier Sports AG, for another four years effective 1 July 2021.

Since the 2012/2013 season, Swisscom has been one of the exclusive sponsors of the top division in Swiss club football, which will be called the Credit Suisse Super League from next season. The company is now extending its commitment as an official sponsor: Swisscom AG and Ringier Sports AG – the Swiss Football League’s (SFL) exclusive marketer for the central advertising rights – have signed a four-year extension to the contract, now effective until the end of the 2024/2025 season.

Martin Blaser, Ringier Sports’ Chief Executive Officer, remarked: «We are thrilled that our successful partnership with Swisscom is entering its third round with this renewal. By extending the contract, Swisscom is sending out a strong signal at what is – for many – a challenging time. Through this commitment, it will continue providing substantial support to Swiss club football in the years to come.»

Christoph Timm, Head of Marketing & Image Communications, commented: «The extension to the partnership means we can offer Swiss football long-term support and send a strong signal to the Swiss League and the Super League clubs, particularly in economically challenging times. Combined with the acquired media broadcasting rights, we’d like to continue offering all football fans the best football experience and to make clubs fit for the future with digitalisation solutions.»
