For the time being the current Deputy-Editors-in-Chief, Dan Udrea and Bogdan Stamatoiu, will manage the daily business with the support of Cătălin Tolontan in his current position as Editorial Coordinator of Gazeta Sporturilor and Libertatea until the Ringier Sports Media Group (RSMG) has decided about the new leadership team of Gazeta Sporturilor.
Cătălin Țepelin, editor-in-chief of Gazeta Sporturilor, is one of the most experienced sports journalists, with over 26 years spent at the top of the best editorial offices in the country. Since 2018 he has been the editor-in-chief of Gazeta Sporturilor, a position from which he coordinated the GSP team both on editorial and strategic levels.
The Board of Directors of Ringier Sports Media Group (RSMG) thanks Cătălin Tepelin for his efforts and decisive contributions. Since May 2022, Gazeta Sporturilor is part of the RSMG which unites national market leaders in sports media with global tech solutions. With 9 brands and more to join, RSMG reaches millions of sports fans monthly in Europe. RSMG was founded in summer 2022 as a subsidiary of the Swiss-based Ringier AG.
