In her new role, Marilena will report directly to Dan Puica, CEO of Imobiliare.ro, and will work closely with the other CEOs and Managing Directors across the Ringier Romania Media portfolio, in order to align financial strategies with operational priorities and contribute to the achievement of Ringier Romania’s business objectives, including sustainable growth, efficiency, and long-term value creation.
With over 20 years of experience in finance, Marilena brings a strong background in audit, financial reporting, and business operations to her new position. She began her career in 2006 at KPMG, where she advanced quickly through the ranks to become Senior Manager. Between 2011 and 2013, she led the KPMG Chisinau office as Country Manager. After a decade in consultancy, Marilena transitioned to the industry sector in 2016, taking on the role of Finance Manager for a Romanian group of companies in the agricultural sector, overseeing accounting, tax, and financial reporting. In 2020, she joined MAS plc as Financial Reporting Manager, focusing on financial reporting processes. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Insurance, Banking, and Capital Markets from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE), and has been a member of the Romanian Chamber of Tax Consultants since 2019.
