Ringier Slovakia Media s.r.o. has become the sole owner of the sports news portal Šport.sk after acquiring the 1/3 minority stake in Šport.sk from Šport Press.
The acquisition is the next step for Sport.sk to fully implement the successful playbook of Ringier Sports Media Group (RSMG). This includes adjustments to the website and a significant increase in the quality of sports coverage, focusing on comprehensive pre-match coverage of sporting events in various genres, complemented by intensive live coverage including match results and game analysis. Sport.sk has already implemented the innovative Sportal365 content management system used by major sports newsrooms worldwide, as well as a team of experienced sports journalists and media professionals to deliver unique value to its target audience and advertisers.
